Refurbishing a village landmark.
The old pub sign was delapidated and becoming dangerous. As an important landmark in the village it seemed right to repair and gently restore it.
The sign has been there at least since the 1920's.
Taking it down.
The much loved image was fading away.
Painting the wrought ironwork which turned out to be in surprisingly good condition under the rust.
